Paint and Coatings Training
KTA’s broad range of lead paint management, safety, and coatings training programs bring to light over 60 years of service to public and private-sector clients in the U.S. and abroad. With broad knowledge, expertise and field experience in the delivery of all types of construction quality assurance services, and unique expertise in coating, steel and concrete-related consulting, inspection, failure analysis, laboratory, and environmental, health and safety services, KTA is fully qualified to lead others through many of the challenges that today’s professionals face.
KTA instructors are industry recognized professionals who hold leadership positions in related technical societies like SSPC, NACE, AIHA, and ASTM. Our adult learning practices include a combination of hands-on teaching techniques, visual techniques, and interactive lecture/discussions. Courses are available through open-registration or private offerings at KTA or client locations. KTA is an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and can offer CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standards. A welcoming environment, competent instructors, and a commitment to meeting learning outcomes are the centerpieces of KTA’s training experience.
KTA offers a variety of coatings courses on topics such as Coatings Inspection, Coating Failure Analysis, Practical Math for Inspectors, Nuclear Power Plant Coatings Inspection, Coatings Inspection Instrument Use,and Shop Painting Practices. Supervisory and Worker Lead Training includes SSPC C.3 Supervisory/Competent Person Training for Deleading of Industrial Structures, SSPC C.5 Supervisor/Competent Person Refresher and Worker Lead/Other Toxic Metals. Safety training includes Fall Protection, Confined Space Entrant, Respiratory Protection, and OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety.
